What do you all think of the name Coleman Scott Roundy? (Scott is Jennifer's dad's middle name).

You can read the church's official statement here.
He was a hard working, dedicated, diligent man who never shirked his duties as a servant of God. I heard on the radio last night that he was so hard working that he would put a full days work in at the office, even up until he was 95 years old! What a great example of integrity and hard work!
For those of you who may not be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I encourage you to learn more at www.lds.org.
I know that he was a prophet of God. I know that he was literally the "mouthpiece" of God, and that he spoke for Christ. Jesus Christ did restore the fullness of His Gospel on the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and President Hinckley was the 15th successor of Joseph Smith. The authority was passed on and Christ's church is again on the earth in it's fullness.
I know that this is true. I don't just believe it. I know it with all my heart.
President Hinckley over the last few years seemed almost anxious to get home to his wife Marjorie who died 3 or 4 years ago. I'm sure they had a very happy reunion together last night.
It is a bitter sweet time, but the truth will go on "boldly, nobly, and independent." (Joseph Smith)
"We thank thee, O God, for a prophet! Who guides us in these latter days. We thank thee for sending the gospel, to enlighten our minds with its rays!" (Hymn # 19, LDS Hymnal).
This beloved prophet will be missed.
Thanks, Lauren. Nothing makes parents happier than to know their children share their feelings about such sacred and precious things.

Check out my up-dated demo reel, including some of the most recent work that I have been doing.
Also, let me know of any bugs and/or confusing type things that you might see. Heck, you can even send me an e-mail through the site so that I can know that it is really working properly. Thanks!
I am hoping that this will better help me get a job. I contacted 13 places yesterday (10 of them were out-of-state production houses, 8 of those were in Los Angeles).
And, if you have any suggestions for stuff that i can add, please let me know. The site will be in a constant up-date phase for the next few days especially, but I hope to have it fully functional and bugless by this weekend. Please help me out!
Have a great day!
I have tried twice to access your web site--I get part of it, but it is locked in place and won't move, so I can't see anything but the red banner or whatever it is and some printing that isn't complete at the bottom. I have no idea what causes this!

Please, go to the site, tell me what you think, make comments here, and be happy.
Note: The site is still very much in it's developmental stages, so it may look totally different every time that you look at it.
Things to look for:
(1) Does it seem too girly? Like, do you think some people might get the impression that I'm a girl?
(2) What do you think it needs?
(3) What do you think it doesn't need?
Remember: It's still in it's early development stages...
Ka-tchau!
As to the girl confusion, I think I got luck there. My friend Robert told me I should put a photo of myself up, in action. He just happened to have that photo of me which was taken while I was filming his wedding. I think it works out nicely.
Thanks for the input! Keep it coming folks...
That's not much of an excuse though, our compy was working last week.
We'll put up some stuff of Adalyne in the next week or two when I get the compy up and working again.
Jennifer did post some pictures of Adalyne. If you don't have access to Jennifer's blogs, request access by e-mailing her at jenroundy@gmail.com
There are a few more up-to-date photos of Adalyne on Jennifer's blogs.
Well, life is full of ups and downs.
This has probably been the hardest semester of my college career. I am trying to juggle being a good husband, preparing to become a father (just 6 more weeks!), keeping up in class, working, fulfilling my calling, being a good son (I know I could work on that, huh mom?), and just plain staying sane.
One thing that was very difficult, but very rewarding, was the report that I just finished for my MCOM 320 (Business Writing) class. I wrote a report about the history of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and their rating system. The report specifically focused on the moral decline in the motion picture ratings since the establishment of ratings in 1968. I also focused on specific effects that "immoral" or "harmful" thematic elements can have on children and adolescents. At the end of the report, some specific solutions were given. It was really quite cool.
Just some things that I learned that I thought you might be interested in: (1) The average American child spends 5 hours and 45 minutes a day with some sort of electronic media. (2) In the last four years, about 135 G-rated films were created, 250 PG-rated films were created, and 2,145 R-rated films were created! (3) R-rated films make a lot less than PG or PG-13 films do.
From a business standpoint,
Anyway, if you would like the full version of my report (complete with about 20 references!!) e-mail me and I'll let you have a copy. Don't be too hard on me if there are some grammar errors. ![]()
In other news, I'm taking a very difficult class as another one of my GEs. It is beginning bowling.
More musings laters.
...to be continued.
Very interesting stuff! I have a few questions:
- What's your highest bowling score so far?
- How may PG-13 movies were made in that same time?
- What's the actual dollar amounts instead of "billions more"?
- Are PG-13 really any better morally than R?
- How doe DVD sales factor into all of this?
. If not, Oh well.
Happy Thanksgiving.
2. No information was given
3. If you are really interested, I'll send you a report that MPAA.org sent me
4. Yes, because as PG-13 films become less moral, so do R, thus, PG-13 are always cleaner than R-rated films of the same time period. This does not mean, however, that PG-13 films today are cleaner than R-rated films from 10 years ago. I have a very long, detailed report about that too. I can send it to you if you're really interested.
5. I didn't look into DVD sales, however, the MPAA.org report has that information I believe.
My report focuses more on the effects of immoral media on children, and how to prevent exposing your children to those harmful things.
