I think you can see some resemblance between Granny and I in that picture, I was on my way to looking less awkward thanks to braces in the upper right, I don't care what anyone else thinks Spencer looks hot like that, such a cute photo of Jeff and I obviously on Easter and so cool to see Millbrook like this, and Captain Hook is scary...but so were my teeth! THANK YOU Mom and Dad for braces, literally saved my life, I would not have the life I have if braces were not an option, that is without question.

Tami Just got my stitches out today and have never feared having it done before, now I might - as that was the most pain I have felt this whole experience. I thought he was pulling my foot inside out, and it hasn't stopped aching since. It seems that my foot hurts more as the time goes on instead of less, ODD ! My doctor said it seems to be doing well but I must still take it very easy and stay off it more. I'm doing cross-stitching now to pass the time.

crazy. yeah, i wouldn't think getting stitches out would hurt. now you're making stitches of your own, good pretty ones that don't hurt! you always make awesome stuff. by the way, there's a place online now called, etsy. its where people can buy and sell homemade things. you might want to look into that.
Tami on Saturday February 21, 2009
I have looked at that site many times, it is a fun way to go. I need my own signature item that would be a good seller. I will think about it and see if my body will let me. I got my neck radio frequency block yesterday and if I can get the right side done soon I should be able to do more without my neck cramping up and making it too painful to sew, craft , etc.............................

What's a neck radio frequency block? Hope it helps you.

Tami Just got an opening for foot surgery. I will go in for surgery on my right foot on Tuesday the third. I am not looking forward to it, and feeling anxious. It is pretty serious, and I hope and pray my curled up toes and feet will decide to cooporate and be straightened. Theres always a chance they won't so it can be risky. I guess the recovery could be quite long too. I would really appreciate your prayers ! Thanks, Tami

Tami On a scale of 1-10. I was at a 10 all day yesterday and all night. No I don't mean beauty wise , I'm talking pure Hellish Pain, so what else is new, well I will tell you all, I just came back from getting my upper no.2 tooth pulled out and have a mouth full of gauze. The numbness is wearing off and it hurts. Toothaches are the worst!!! I am hoping to catch up on a sleepless night, then it's off for foot surgery, back surgery, neck shots and the list goes on. I hope everyone else is doing better than me! WHA, WHA. just sharing.

Yeah, and it gets better all the time, HA. the other night at the church for play practice, the Camry's window got bashed in and my purse stolen. There were lots and lots of cars in the parking lot, people were there for practice, mutual, and meetings yet somehow our car was picked right in the middle. Other cast members told me they had left their purses in the car and didn't even lock it. It would have been better if we didn't as the replacement cost a fortune and all they got was a meal at Jack in the box and some gas in their car ! I am lost without a purse and everyday remember something else that I now don't have. Jeff thinks we are cursed. He said why are we so unlucky? The only good news is that my keys weren't in my purse but I lost my phone and wallet, license and cards and receipts and favorite lipsticks. And my sunglasses. It has put me in a funk. so there you go, more to whine about. BOO-HOO.
Artigam on Saturday December 6, 2008
That is awful! That would definitely put me in a funk too! One time my window was shot out with a bb gun by some kid and the only thing he took was my charlottesville city decal. that's it, and he felt the need to destroy my window for it. Then later that very same day I was rear ended. The good thing was that the money the rear ender paid for the damage to my car was enough to reimburse me for the money I paid to get my window fixed too.

Tami Peter and I are both in a play for Christmas about Christ. it has beautiful songs we are learning and I am really excited to be doing something in tune with the real meaning of Christmas. It is nice to be doing it together also. So everyone is invited to come. I would love to have some company for Christmas with Two of our children and spouses missing this Christmas it won't feel quite right.

Tami Tomorrow is a Big day. I am nervous. We are still working hard on Prop 8 and the President of the church asked that all bishops give their ward a blessing. It was so spiritual yesterday at church. Working on this prop together has brought us great blessings and unity. I am so grateful to be able to stand as a witness for truth and right!!!

Aunt Tami,

It is so good to know that you and your church have been working so hard for this proposition. I have been following the news very closley and praying for its success and I am so thankful for the work you all have been doing.
Tami on Tuesday November 4, 2008
Thanks Marin, I am waiting to hear the news on prop 8 , I think if it doesn't pass I might just go to bed and not get up, after hearing that OBama won I don't think I can take any more disappointment especially on something I feel is so important. How's your pregnancy going so far, are you feeling okay or having morning sickness? I am excited for you to have another baby. Will you find out what the sex is? Keep us posted.
Artigam on Wednesday November 5, 2008
I was very disappointed yesterday night as well. My state went blue and we now have two democratic senators. Hopefully prop 8 will pass. In happier news, the pregnancy is going very well and I will find out next Thursday whether we are having a boy or a girl. I can't wait! I will make sure to post the results!!
spencer on Wednesday November 5, 2008
I'm excited to hear about your baby! So what are the results in California? I've read some articles saying Prop 8 passed and some saying it didn't; I guess the most recent says it passed? Is that what the local consensus is?
Artigam on Wednesday November 5, 2008
From what I have read and seen on the news it passed! But I think it the opposition is already gearing up for a fight. Apparently a lesbian couple has hired Gloria Allred to contest it as unconstitutional. The three other states that had bans on their ballots also passed, so it looks like for the time being, the country still favors traditional marriage only.
harmony on Thursday November 6, 2008
yay! I know its not over but we should still rejoice and be grateful to God for answering so many prayers. Something that bothers me so much in all of this is how they keep saying its a civil rights issue, when the truth is they already have all the same civil rights. And they say its about putting a ban or limit on love. Which it isn't. There's no way anyone CAN do that. We're just denying a title and they want it so that their relationships are seen as exactly the same and just as valid and right. And then they say that this won't affect anything! When thats exactly what it will do and what they want it to do. It won't change civil rights because they already have all of those, what it will change is that anyone who has a moral issue with homosexuality will be wrong and it is very likely to infringe on the right of those people to view it as such.

I got a phone call from Spencer today, nothing could have prepared me for the news that Cado had been hit by a car earlier in the day.  I paced and cried as Spencer relayed the story of what happened , before I go on I want to say that as far as I know and they can tell Cado is all right.  He is missing his front teeth after getting hit head on by a car the size of a Camry.  I feel so helpless and cannot seem to get anything done today, I should be packing for a trip to Utah for Thanksgiving.  I guess Harmony went out in the street to welcome her friend and tell her where to park, saying stay right here to Cado.  He decided to run out after her because he was excited to see his friend in the car too.  He looked right at the car as it hit him, and was thrown and then hit face  first.  It is a true miracle that he is not hurt very badly. I know Spencer was able to get there soon and give him a blessing. I am so thankful for the priesthood he holds, that he was able to do that.  He told Cado that angels were watching over him and had protected him.  I am a bundle of emotions and just wanted to alert everyone to this.  So you all could join in the prayers on his behalf and also Harmony who is undoubtedly  having a difficult time too.  I love my Family and grandchildren more than anything in the world and miss them so much.  I am so very thankful that Cado has a wonderful Mother and Father, and that they can be there at his side though this.  I can't wait to see them all soon as I will be going for a visit after Christmas.  Cado will be in the hospital overnight under observation.  I' m sure his little body will feel mighty sore for a few days and let's all hope and pray that is truly the worst of it.!!    CADO,  I LOVE YOU !!!!   Grami Tami

I was so shocked to read this!  It makes me cry.  We all love this little family so much, and have enjoyed following their adventures in Switzerland.  Surely the Lord will bless Cado to recover from his injuries quickly.  (I am using my son-in-law's computer while we are here in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving, and I can hardly read the print, it's so small, and I don't want to change anything.)  Anyway, please know that our prayers are with you, Harmony's mother, and with Spencer and Harmony and Paisley, and especially at this time with dear little Cado.  Hopefully all will go well.  Love o all, Great-Grandma Janice Roundy

Harmony please know that you are the best Mom, and don't be too hard on yourself.  I just want to be there to comfort you through all this.  Thank you Spencer for being there for her, and thank you for being worthy to give such a wonderful blessing.  I love you Cado!!! How is Paisley doing through all of this??? Did she see it happen also?   Love Dad and Pop-Pop!

Cado is doing great and probably could've come home tonight - however he started a fever and they are going to keep him another night.  I came home with Paisley and before I left he was running up and down the hallways of the hospital, against parent and doctor orders of course.

I am writing a longer blog with more information too.

Thank you for all your love and prayers!
