UncleSteven Last night, somewhere in the Whoville town of Sebastopol, Carlo celebrated with Missy, his 60th year on this swirling planet of ours. The food diverse and immigrant based, along with friends, and extended family, shared life, song, and remembered the idea, that somehow, Carlo, had passed into his 6th decade of symbolic consciousness that displayed itself in his and Missy's eclectic interior decoration....the "Juice"

UncleSteven As we at the Widdifield home, a collection of family and friends of Ray Widdifield that celebrated his 95th birthday, we enjoyed each other's company. Two things stood out, David and Mary Lou Widdifield brought a touch lamp, that if you touched it, the light went thru a three way cycle, then turned off and secondly, we discussed whether or not, culturally speaking, canning was rural or suburban, or if it was slowly becoming a dying culinary artform...the "Juice"

UncleSteven Adele came to dinner tonight, so we could go to the jailhouse plant sale today, near the Sonoma County Airport. I took the time to make a Lamb Roast with the fixings, Coleslaw, Green Salad, Corn and a Melon Mix. Fresh Blackberry Pie and Blackberry Crisp for Dessert.....the "Juice"

UncleSteven Jackson is getting Baptized tomorrow and Joyce and I put together a spread. Meat, Cheese, Condiments, Pasta Salad with red onions, parsley green olives and shrimp, Spinach salad with bacon, cranberries, red onions and almonds, and three types of melon....rolls and sliced bread...the "Juice"

UncleSteven So now it seems it's Ed the Pear Farmer in the Sacramento Delta area, who donated the two lug boxes of Pears that I did three ways. I made a Pear Pie, I made Pear Sauce and I made Pear Juice, which is still settling. It is with great pleasure that I bring you the harvest from the Windsor Proper area of Sonoma County...the "Juice"

UncleSteven I'm not just whistling Dixie, but here is the City Boy, the "Juice" harvesting and juicing his first crop of Gravenstein Apples, and my fourth bag of Blackberries. I also made Tart dough, which Joyce will later turn in to a fruit Gallete with Peaches from my tree, and blackberries from my bushes....the "Juice"
