Nice thing about the ice cream is you can take it with you. A cruise across Lake Geneva.
These kids are used to walking a lot and riding the bus. Geneve likes to mix it up with Cado and Paisley.
Yep, Spencer and Harmony left us with the kids and ran off to Venice for some well-deserved R and R. We took the kids to the Botanical Gardens where they saw a pigeon try to fly out of a glasshouse, through the glass. After a bump on the head, the kind caretaker helped it out and explained all of this to the kids.
Water is fun wherever you find it.
Crazy caroussel in Jardin Botanique
Kids on a lobster.
Outside of the UN.
Cado was a crazy man in the spirting water.
Geneve is out for the count.
This is a great one! How fun.
Baby Plage
At the beach west side of Lake Geneva.
Cute!
What did you think of these swings? Pretty fun and inventive recycling I think.
Yep, the kids loved it and wore out the grandpa.
You don't want to fool with this bicyclist.
ahh, so that's where that comes from. Cado was asking me why Superman doesn't have a motorcycle if Batman does. I'm not sure my answer was satisfying.
Cado and I discussed the differences between motor scooters and motor cycles. He got interested in where the motor was.
There's that monkey again.
great shot! Its fun to see all the fun things you did while we were gone. I'm glad you took pictures!
Wading pool on top of the train tracks, right by our house.
Cado doved and glided, dived and glided.
Sorry, dived and glided.
cool. he's doing so great! the pool sure was full this day!
Happy together!
Yes, Harmony was a bit worried about leaving her baby for the first time - but Geneve had no troubles falling in love with Grandma. I could tell on Skype yesterday that Geneve was confused why she couldn't hug Grandma.
Yeah, it was really great for the kids to bond with the grandparents, and vice versa, and it was neat that Geneve was still cool with Grandma even when I returned home. They had a great time and so did we: win-win!
And by the way, we welcome any and all visitors!
(and grandparents are definitely welcome to come and watch our kids while we go on a trip!)
Yep, highly recommended fun and excitement!
your shirt sure testifies that you were taking care of a baby. this is what all my clothes end up like!
Grandma opening her souvenir thank you gift from San Murano (Venice)
Murten (German) or Morat (French), right on the French/German culture of Switzerland.
On another great outing with the family.
pretending to fall I think. too bad you can't tell that there's a beautiful lake in the background.

This album is public for all to see.

One of the local monkies at a typical Swiss watering hole.
I could take that Monkey home with me. He's cute!
