Your Mom loved doing this with you also.  I will never forget the day you came in with your beautiful hair cut by what we thought at the time by you.  Your Mom was beside herself that day and I know you were too, especially since you were covering for brother Brian who did the dastardly dead!  Paisley looks so cute!!

OK - I'll comment on the correct spelling - but only because I was asked to and because I looked it up - the correct spelling is barrette and comes from the French word barre, which means bar.  Meaning you bar the hair.

she only messes with it right at the beginning, then she forgets, so if it comes out its because it falls out on its own.
