Jennie and I pretty much spent the whole month of November putting this event together and fortunately it was a success. i really didn't have time to be taking pictures, so i have very few of poor quality.
we called it A night in BEthlehem. A lot of people dressed up. we had a music/narration program, middle eastern food, and a creche by the kids. we strung the ceiling with lights like starts, but they ended up being up too bright! We had a lot of help from husbands and ward members, and our great kids who went neglected for awhile. But the ward said it was very special and the best one yet. YAY! It was a cool experience and I'm glad they asked us.
Great Turnout! Looks like you did a great job!!!
Ahhh, I LOVE IT!! I SOOO wanted to do something origional for our ward party, but I got VETOED by the head of the planning commitee. We just had boring old ham and funeral potatoes, yuck! Wish I was on your commitee, looks like you guys totally rocked it!
It was amazing and we had a really good turnout too. One member said something like "I couldn't see/understand/fathom what Harmony was trying put together - but once I got here tonight it all comes together so well."
