Look, I'm actually getting somewhere with my blog! Finally we get to Christmas! This collage is from the first few days of our trip. We arrived in Utah Saturday 19th and left for California Tuesday 22nd, stopping in St. George to visit Grandma and Grandpa Great Roundy and we were able to stay the night with Aunt Maren and Uncle Kevin. We arrived in Cali on Wednesday the 23rd with plenty (if not all) our Christmas shopping still to do! not my favorite way to get it done but it worked out. Here we have Paisley and cousin Addy dancing away, they had so much fun together. We ate yummy waffles, dressed up, and relaxed. We even got to see Grandma Maris and Grandpa the Great Grotegut!

this has the same pictures as the last collage, different format.
oh, and don't forget to zoom then right click, "view image" and then you can even click again (normal left click) to zoom on that so that you can really see all the pictures.

We went to see Santa at the mall. Paisley is muting her father two times in this collage, but its the same photo. She is quite the sassafrass, this is quite typical of her, especially with her Daddy.

Christmas Eve! Paisley was so cute helping Grami with the breads. She loves to help bake and she did a great job! Mary and Joseph dinner included broiled fish, olives, fruit, dried fruit, nuts, goat cheese, flat bread, grape juice, hummus. I told the kids they got to open a present but I got to choose which one, Cado was all dissapointed and said, i probably won't like it. Then they opened them and they were all excited. Cado got Ben Ten jammies and Paisley got a princess gown. They all got a Christmas book. Santa gifts: stockings full of random stuff and candy, Geneve: "toolset" that you bang and it makes songs/etc., books; cado: guitar, paisley, polly pocket van.

Cool collage - almost like a flip book of the morning events.

Same as last collage, different arrangement + words. The kids loved their guitars and gave some great performances! Breakfast was so good with the rolls and scrambled eggs and bacon and fruit...mmmm. But I must confess I hardly remember the dinner at this point, because I didn't take any pictures. Sadly for me, if it's not photographed or written about immediately it's forgotten!

Cado was so into Ben 10. He was very proud of these jammies.

This really is a great gown for Paisley, her most frequently worn I think.

The kids were so good to wait quite awhile from waking up to opening presents! It helped when we stuck them in front of the Disney channel. they all have "soot" on their noses from Santa's kisses. I forgot to do it actually and then when i realized it, I just said, "hey what's that on your nose?" while swiping it with some black eyeshadow! worked like a charm.

Santa comes and kisses our kids when he brings presents, so they all have some soot on their noses.

"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley "I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley
