pretty Sunday sisters. Paisley does all this crazy posing all on her own. She LOVES to be the subject of my photography! She pulls some awesome positions and faces! And Geneve runs to see the picture before I even get a chance to take it!

I made "potato peel pie". I cheated and made it yummy, I didn't make the real war version. It was actually good. It's red because I also used beets. I thought it would be fun to dress in period clothing (1940's), and I fashioned that hat out of a piece of tulle i cut off of an old costume skirt of paisley's and some of my flower hair clips.

Looking at these, I was struck with how much you remind me of my Mother ! Peter said recently that I look more like her all the time, so the genes continue. I have always thought you looked most like your father and the Child side, it is certainly still a big part of you, yet I see a bit of me now and yep, as I said my Mom too. The classic hair and little hat help with the look, it seems I've seen my Mom with a similar look in some pictures, one being when she got married. Tell me more about the potato peel pie. Did you really use potatoes ?

just random stuff from the month. I love that flower I don't know what it is. After Paisley's recital she would perform it and dance it around the house, and she wouldn't forget like she did when she was on the stage! I think with Geneve's amazing talent for imitation she could be great at anything. She pulls the exact same moves she sees Paisley doing, and for a less than two year old does them really well!

The house tour. Everything but the play room is on here. We did some rearranging recently and I really like it. We moved all toys and books (plus the kids clothes which were already there) into what we originally had as their sleeping room, and now it is the play room. And they all sleep in the tiniest bedroom. then where the toys used to be is now a relaxing room to look at books, do art, etc. I realized that I haven't taken any pictures of the play room yet, so this tour is incomplete.

Well, I can tell it is bigger than the last place and the toilet is actually in the bathroom not a toilet closet eh. The kitchen looks quite a bit bigger and more cupboards yet you said it really wasn't . All in all it looks like you have made it a Home !

Fete des Ecoles parade and party. Last year I missed seeing him in the parade. I never got over that, and so this year my whole week revolved on being sure to see it! That's all I planned for my day. We got there early with time to spare, we went to the beginning of the parade, then we chased it down and watched it again and then a couple more times. cado was stunned each time he saw me like I was apparating into place to see him several times. It was fun. he was so excited to see us. the girls liked it too. It's so fun to see all the cool things the schools and kids come up with and make.

Isn't she such a princess! and a natural ballerina, look at that position. she just does this stuff and is so graceful. She also has a natural ability to spot when she spins. She says, look I don't get dizzy! anyway, I love this picture and this girl.

Geneve LOVES to swim, whether in lake, pato or pool. notice the diaper. for some reason i didn't put a swim one on her. it's crazy how much water a diaper can hold!
