Spencer wanted to share the beauty of one of his bike rides with us. It was beautiful and I liked having him share something he loved with us. We drove up the mountain on a beautiful sunny day and when we got to the top it started pouring rain and then HAILING! it was crazy. went on a little hike where we saw lots of cows and big snails, stopped for picnic food and went to the lake at a lovely beach and played along the water.

Geneve thinks her friend James is the coolest, and will do whatever he does. She's an excellent copycat. They were very cute wtih their plastic basket heads.

Those berries look absolutely amazing and I bet delicious ! Cado looks so handsome in a 3 piece suit ! And his Mom is sure beautiful too.

Some very cute kids, and Geneve with that big rabbit, what did the rabbit think, how long did she get to hold on to it ? So many fun things to do and places to go. WOW ! Is there no end to the fun and excitement ? ! ? !

wish I could've been there. Bummer I have to work at all in the summer.

This is so fun! It's all thse contraptions and ropes and platforms and bridges going from tree to tree and the kids are attached with a harness and everything, and at the end there's a zip line. I was concerned Paisley would be too scared to do this, but she did it. However she was very nervous, concerned and though she did it she didn't seem to be enjoying very much. she still gave me a big smile when she saw the camera though! There was a moment where Asia and Paisley had a little crisis on the platform, they were pushing each other and we had to get the authority figure to give them a talking to, and then it all worked out! Towards the end Paisley saw how fun and silly Cado was being and how much fun he was having, and it was infectious. Cado is great for her. She loosened up and ended on a great note! I was so proud of her. Oh, and Geneve was not happy about being left out of something. She eventually got over it and did her own accrobranche with the ropes marking off the pathway for us below.

What a blast, I guess the adults don't get to do it. No fair ! I'm impressed with Paisley too. You'd never know she had reservations with that look and smile. More fun !

I LOVE that rainbow slide !! you are going to really miss those Switzerland parks when you move back.

We had two really awesome summer days to finish off the summer. It was a nice send off! We enjoyed a couple of pools with our friends.

Who's the new baby, did Asia get another brother ? In spite of not having the hot weather you wanted you would never know it by all the pool and water fun you guys had. I wanted to go to the beach this week because it is still quite hot here and it is funny when school starts you think oh, summer is over but here it is still really hot and a great time to go because it is not as crowded. I'm not ready for Fall, I always love it but I need it to be cooler plus it freaks me out a bit because it means time flies even faster and before you know it it's Christmas. It is always hectic and I'm pledging that this year I will be more on top of it. HA, I say that every year.

Asia has a new sister, Mila. I know I haven't felt ready for fall either. But it was nice that summer left us with a couple of great days of sunshine. September has been nice here, but the pools all close, and the water cools down at the beach fast.

cool door eh? Parts of this house were built in the 1600's and 1700's!

Romain and Cado are best buds at school. We were so grateful for the family's kind invite to enjoy their really old, really big, really cool home and garden wtih them.

Awesome house, so now I know, I was wondering if you knew the people that lived there. What was the inside like? I love the front door. What is the glass made of, Bottles?
