Chairs I found at D.I. back in 2004 and re-upholstered and painted. It was a lot of work, and then we had kids and they looked like this. I used 2 stain removers and scrubbed hard, let them sit for 30 minutes, and then let them soak in 2 stain removing washing agents for 10 hours and....

VOILA! they are completely stain free!! I was amazed and very happy. I made vinyl covers for them and repainted as well and now they are better than ever! Now if only I could find two more like them to have a set of 6 chairs. It would be nice to have another arm chair too.

This is the beginning of the tour, this is what you see when you walk in the house. These are "before" pictures. as in before we cleaned up, unpacked, decorated and truly moved in.

....oh, and that may be misleading. We are STILL in that phase. By the way in case you weren't aware, we're renting. This house is in a great cul-de-sac neighborhood with plenty of kids who like to play outside together, yay! It's 2000 square feet, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, with a nice size yard, 2 car garage, and laundry room. It is a great size for our family and we will probably be here 2 or more years before we are hopefully able to buy something! Maybe by 15 years of marriage? or by the time I'm 35? we'll see!
