Paisley sorta thought she was going too.  I felt bad that she wasn't, but she's not like Cado, and got over it really easily.  She was okay with just wearing a backpack, escorting Cado, and going to a playground.

That's so Cado.  The energy, determination, speed, expressiveness, and strength of body and personality.  He had a lot to say this morning.  I don't think he stopped talking from the moment he woke up to the moment I left him in his classroom.

I can just picture his excitement and non-stop talking in my mind.

YEAH!  I'm going to school today!!

I considered home schooling for awhile (and it may still maybe someday happen for some kid for some reason) but as the time has come closer I've decided against it for now for several reasons.  Looking at this picture, you can see one of them: I wouldn't want to take this moment from him!

What a sweet hug!!  As we came inside the school gate he said in a matter of fact voice, "Okay Paize, I love you, I gotta go to school now, I'll see you later."  The he gave her a big hug.

One of his teachers, Veronica.  I feel really good about both his teachers.  His school by the way is a short walk (5 minutes) from our place and is small, just for 4-6 yr. olds, and is called "Charles-Giron."

"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley "I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley
