Batman and Batgirl (as Paisley requested when she saw Cado like this)
spencer on Tuesday April 15, 2008
Paisley hasn't completely figured out that you need a really serious face to be batman.  Cado has.
Tami on Tuesday April 15, 2008
Cado takes all his roles seriously, always has.   He definitely should be an actor.

"Super Why!" from PBS kids.  We recorded some shows on our computer before we left.  This one is about the "Superreaders" so it motivates kids to learn to read.  They love it.  Paisley is being Princess Presto and Cado is Super Why.

So cute, I hope you guys continue to love to read!!

Hilarious!  both sitting on the pot and reading Ensigns or BYU magazine. Cado's pointing something out to her here.
Artigam on Sunday April 13, 2008
LOL.  Too funny. Glad to see they are following the Child tradition and are both avid readers :)
Peter312 on Tuesday April 15, 2008
This is classic, this should be sent to Readers digest, or some other magazine do get published.  What a great shot!  Looks just like me every morning.

Too much information...
Tami on Tuesday April 15, 2008
Yes, I agree.  I am jealous though that it is EVERY morning.  In fact after being in there with you guys for about a month. I came home and bought Metemucil.  I saw how much came out of little Cado , whom you think doesn't eat enough and decided something wasn't right with me.  UH-OH too much information again.  Oh poop!!
Tami on Tuesday April 15, 2008
I just wanted to add that I agree with Dad there must be some where you could send this picture too for fun.  Maybe the BYU magazine. Well, I'm glad you shared it with us, how did you take it without them knowing?
harmony on Tuesday April 15, 2008
you two are a hoot.  we probably should send it, I'll look into it.  I don't read enough magazines to know where it would be most appreciated.  I heard Cado telling Paisley, "look, see its Jesus, and thats Joseph Smith."  So I snuk over to see and ran for the camera.  I think they knew, but they're pretty used to it.
Tami on Tuesday April 15, 2008
hey, hey, hey.  We are both up at the same time, to bad Dad is sleeping.  We need to talk another way.  MOM

She's a hoot on the phone.  She talks up a storm. "uh-huh.  oh yeah!  {laugh}.  Why?  really?  Okay.  You coming over?  see you later.  Okay.  Byebye."  etc.  She'll have full on conversations and "wait" for the other person to respond, and laugh and carry on walking around the house.  Put her on the real phone however and she's pretty quiet.
Artigam on Sunday April 13, 2008

What fun!

Virginia on Sunday April 13, 2008
That is so cute.  It reminds me of Adalyne.  Jennifer calls me and then lets Adalyne talk.  She jabbers on and on until she accidentally hangs up the phone.  Jennifer says she walks from room to room talking just like she sees her mom and dad do it.  It's a hoot how children are mirrors.  It can be scary too.

toilet paper roll binoculars in her hands.  This is one of her favorite dresses by the way that she requests to wear all the time.
Artigam on Sunday April 13, 2008
Toilet paper roll binoculars, batman and bat girl, the reading heroes, rocket ships.... Your kids are so creative, I wonder where they got it from

He ran around me in circles "flying" and fighting bad guys, and when I stopped taking pictures he said, "hey, take pictures of me!"

Paisley started a new trend the other day of wearing Daddy's shoes.  She does it in all seriousness, no silly giggling or anything.  Cado of course has joined in.
Virginia on Sunday April 13, 2008
Cado, someday you will fill those shoes in more ways than one.

Cado has figured out how to cross his eyes.  we didn't show him or anything, one day he just did it.  I laughed and he said, "What? its not funny, its my powers."  I asked him about it and its his xray vision.  I don't think he has ever seen what it looks like and so he doesn't understand why we laugh, he just knows he's doing something strange and it feels wierd and his vision is wierd when he does it.
Virginia on Sunday April 13, 2008
Wow!  I hope your eyes don't stick like that.  That is scary!  I hope they are good powers.
Peter312 on Tuesday April 15, 2008

Have you shown him the photos of him doing this yet?

Cado is playing being a detective here.  He has his hand/finger like that because he's scratching his head and thinking.  Then he'll run in some direction like he has a clue.

"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley "I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley
