harmony Most of you probaby know that I am a wimp when it comes to cold, but I do not think I exaggerate in saying that it is FREEZING!! I think this is only the 2nd time this year (the other being in February) where it has been so cold that my hands HURT and turned bright red because I wasn't wearing gloves while taking the kids to and from school. And these photos were taken on my way back as evidence that it is indeed TOO COLD! (Geneve is still happy!)

Yes, it seemed colder today than it has been all year. We usually don't get to see frozen water fountains because they turn them off in the winter - so this is really cool! But if you want to see how cold Geneva can get, then do a Google image search for "Geneva frozen": http://images.google.com/images?q=geneva%20frozen&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi

perhaps you can't really see, but though there is some moving water through the pipes of this fountain near our apartment, there is also a lot of ice!

After looking at "Geneva frozen" we will definitely bring warm clothing in December.

Yes well it feels even colder today than yesterday. Cado brought home an icicle today and is very proud of it.

My preferred warm clothing item is a scarf. I don't feel bundled up without one.

Words of Wisdom I hope I can remember and live by!
"We women have a lot to learn about simplifying our lives. We have to decide what is important and then move along at a pace that is comfortable for us. We have to develop the maturity to stop trying to prove something. We have to learn to be content with what we are." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley "I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Pay Hinckley
