It has been so long since I have taken a few minutes to write a blog. And now that I have a chance, get ready for a long one. Get Ready...Get Set... GO!
Addy is currently 3 months now-and is growing so fast. This last week she has mastered sucking her thumb and it is so cute how she does it. With her right hand she will suck her thumb, but in order for her to keep the thumb in her mouth-with her left hand she has to hold her hand there. I will have to get a picture for everyone to see. She is so cute. She is so talkative right now and she loves hearing the sound of her voice. We have a recording of her when she is talking, I wish there was a way I could show it to you. Maybe if you read this spencer, you can show me how. It's crazy to think that what we hear is her voice. She has learned to look for me when she is hungry. For instance, she will be crying because she is hungry and than she will zone me out. And look at me with these eyes that say "mom, what are you doing! Feed ME!"
I think that she is in the midst of learning that her baby friend that she sees in the mirror is not another baby, but herself. It is fun to watch her look at herself in the mirror. She will look in the mirror, move up and down and watch herself do it- than of course, smile at herself. SHE LOVES IT!
Lauren graduates in August, and we are all so very proud of him and the hard work that he does to provide for our family both spiritually and financially. I am a busy mother at home with my beautiful daughter that demands constant attention.
Our plans were that we were not going to move until August, but 2 weeks ago, during a 16 hour period, that changed. It's amazing how plans can change so quickly. So, now we are moving out in 25 days. WOW! I am so excited. We are going to have a dishwasher, and washer & dryer-that is the most exciting. No more stains that I can't clean whatsoever! Addy is very good at staining her clothes every day. I find it amazing that she has a talent for getting her whole outfit dirty, but none of the diaper in which is was supposed to go in. Well, we are learning.
We hear more stories everyday about the many adventures we will venture on with our children, and we are both excited and scared to death! I think, what makes people old, is there children- and I'm sure we will grow very old, just like our parents! we love you and the lessons you have taught us.
Over the past 3 months, Lauren and I have alot more appreciation and gratitude of the sacrifice and the love that our parents have put into us.
We are very excited for the Roundy Family Reunion, and have some fun activities planned.
