After traveling the country working as a nurse I have settled down in  Charlottesville, Virginia.  Im currently employed as a nurse at the University of Virginia.  I work in the very busy and unpredictable emergency room. 

I love reading, cooking, photography and spending time with my beautiful neice Amelia and my adorable nephew Eliott.

There are many things involved in who I am, but the basics are that I live in Sonoma County, I am a kitchen worker and I am now heading into unchartered waters, involving not only my upcoming 60th birthday, but being part of a kitchen start up at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville, California, which is 11 miles north of where I live.  I spend lots of time with family members, and my neighbors, cajoling opportunities when I can, and spend time helping some of my  wife's senior clients with their landscape maintenance issues.  I am an accomplished embellisher, and spend time weaving alleghorical tales for educational purposes. I am so lucky to be sharing my life with a no nonsense, common sense, creative, hard working woman named Joyce, who also feels that we are lucky to have each other, but that we are lucky to have what we have, and enjoy sharing and giving back to the community that we so graciously live in....Steven (the "Juice") Child
