I wonder, in the states, where people fill up their water on long rides? At gas stations?
Since I've started cycling here in Switzerland I've loved the water fountains where I fill up. This is just one example of refreshing cold water pouring out of an old spout. I suppose the pools are from when the livestock could just wander up and drink out of it.

I loved these water fountains when we visited last summer. Wow! It was just a year ago that we came to see you. It seems like decades ago. We are looking forward to our next trip in December.

They ride to a river or ocean destination and just dive in and the water is infused through the pores in their skin. As for me, why carry a bottle, when you can just Whinniieee, and swallow...just like the livestock used to....the "Juice"

I biked up to the top of the Saleve a few weeks back (1400 meters high while Geneva is only 373 meters, meaning I climbed 3,300 feet to get up to the top of this). These pictures even prove it. I'm looking out over Geneva and Lake Geneva. The map shows you, what you probably assumed from the picture, that its quite the cliff after this point and that's why those people can jump of and para-glide. You'll also notice that the French have decided to eat away at the mountain for whatever reason.

I love views from cliffs. It's great to see the contrast in the color at the top as opposed to the color of the countryside below, being so green...the "Juice"...BONZAI.....!!!!!!!!!!

very cool how you've done this. It's awesome how you are getting exercise, enjoying yourself and seeing cool places.

This album is public for all to see.

You'll obviously need to click on these to see what's going on. But in any case, here are a few photos taken from some of my recent bike rides. On the left is the photo, on the right is the map with the little red dot being the GPS location of where the photo was taken from my iPhone (pretty nifty, and Picasa brings up the location automatically).
